Puppy's Story...
This petite, 53-pound, 1.5 year-old Golden-Lab mix lady is excited about her new life in Colorado.

Puppy girl is one very "needy" gal from love to training. She is mellow, still, a bit skittish, and gradually blossoming into a really special happy girl.

Puppy says, "I am sooooooooo happy to be in Colorado! I get to be part of a pack of five dogs and a foster mom and dad, and it is so much fun! And I sleep at night in a big bed with my pack. I feel so loved. I have so much fun.

I also am into playing with my foster puppy brother and foster sister. We run crazy around the yard, and then I come inside and get lots of people love and scratches. And I LOVE going on property walks. So many smells. I am such a Velcro pup that I stay right with my foster mom and dad, never wandering off. And I walk nicely on the leash. I am getting used to all the new noises of whirring things. I am just now beginning to explore this toy and ball thing.

My foster mom says that I am so sweet and gentle. When I am happy, which is a often , I wag my entire body. I will gently offer you my paw in friendship, too.

And did I tell you yet that I am a lover? Lots of love for me, please!

I would love to be in a forever home with another doggie to play with. And kids would be great, too, if they are patient with me."

Puppy will need to be spayed as soon as possible at no cost to the adopter, if the spay is performed at a GRFR-approved veterinary hospital. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Puppy, a Denver Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
