Meet Simon!! His foster family reports, "This 2 year Golden Retriever mix is the perfect snuggle buddy! Simon is great with all dogs and people. 'Of course I am!'
Simon needs to have a doggy sister or brother -- he is lonesome and becomes a bit anxious when you leave him alone. And he loves to have a four-footed playmate! He is a love bug and wants to be with you all the time. If possible Simon would sit in your lap all day long! He's a 70 pound lap dog! Simon needs a family with dog savvy kids, 12 or older, or no kids.
Simon is great on leash and loves the dog park! He even knows some basic commands like sit and shake. Attending an obedience class with Simon will not only teach him new basic commands, the experience will also further your bonding with each other. Simon is housetrained and trustworthy to roam the house while you are away. Simon has been known to chase kitties, so a home without them will be best for everyone.
