Lala's Story...
Lala is our 3 year old Boxer/Lab Blend. She came to EBARR from the Antioch Shelter from an owner who didn't have time for Lala anymore. Lala is a sweet energetic dog. She knows basic commands but does need work on her manners. She likes the company of other dogs but at first she seems very dominant towards them. If you are not a cat fan, not to worry Lala will chase them all away for you. Lala is looking for a home with someone who has the time to train her and give her lots of exercise. She is very loving and just loves to please so she should learn fast! Give Lala a chance and contact us today!

About Our Rescue Group...
We are one of the few rescue organizations that will accept animals from the community.*
* " We must have space in one of our foster families, the cat or dog must get along with other animals and we require a $200 donation for cats and dogs to off set the veterinary costs we incur. In addition, if your animal is un-altered we require an additional $100 alteration fee.
We use Foster Families exclusively. We do this by choice because we believe the animals are happier, better socialized and ultimately more adoptable by interacting with families and their pets. We do hold regular adoption hours at our weekend adoption sites and are available by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...
The cost to adopt a pet is typically $250 for dogs and $150 for cats*. We provide an extensive vet package for all EBARR animals. All animals are seen by our vet and provided the following:
Alteration
Vaccinations
Flea Treatment
Stool Sample Test
Deworming
A general health exam, where any and all issues are addressed and treated.
In addition for cats and kittens we test for Leukemia and Aids. These services have an average retail value of over $400. All animals adopted from us come with a receipt, listing all services provided from our veterinarian.
*Adoption fee's may be higher depending on the cost incurred for each animal in our care.
We require all potential adopters to complete an application, which must be approved. An agreement also must be read and signed.

Our goal is to one day open an animal refuge in California for all animals in need of a home. We serve all of the Bay Area.
