CHACHO's Story...
"Chacho" is a beautiful 6-8 month-old boy, possibly a Boston terrier-pit bull mix, that bounced into the life of a lovely young couple who happened to see him wandering around a construction site in La Porte. Most likely abandoned and doing his best to survive, "Chacho" was thrilled to see them!!! As soon as their car door opened, he jumped right in and never looked back. "Chacho" is very smart and quickly learned to sit and shake---for treats, of course! He is still working on house training and taming his excitement when he greets everyone he meets. "Down, "Chacho!" He loves other dogs and just wants to play-play-play. Even though he is young and energetic, after only a few days, "Chacho" learned to chill out on the couch with his rescuers when watching TV. He weighs around 35 lbs, and the vet believes he won't get much bigger. "Chacho" is current on his shots, HW negative and soon to be neutered. If you are ready for some Puppy Love, please come by the Rice University Farmer's Market, next Tuesday afternoon, and meet "Chacho" and his True Blue Friends. Contact Janice at truebluefriends@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Chacho.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHACHO, a Houston Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
