My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophia has had some time to settle in to her foster home and her personality is starting to shine. She has a silly side and loves attention, but also settles nicely around the house. She likes to be wherever you are, so she will be very good company for someone. She's been great with the kids in her foster home and the cats too. She loves people in general and would probably let you pet her all day long if you could. Sophia enjoys walks on trails and in the open space, and if there is water, all the better. She may wade, she may lie down in it, she always sticks her whole nose in for drink, and she's learning that sometimes the water gets deep and you just have to make the plunge.
Sophia left her life as a puppy mill breeder last fall, and still has a few things to work on while she's learning what it's like to be a dog. she still startles at noises and new things that surprise her, but recovers quickly with encouragement. Mostly, she just need more time to have experiences and someone with a positive attitude. Her foster mom has seen so much growth already though. Sophia will need another large confident doggy sibling in her forever home. Please let us know if you are interested in meeting this Golden Gem.
