Hank's Story...
They call me Mr. Sweetie pie - Hank is between 5-7 years old and he came from a home in Kansas where he lived that just didn't want him anymore. We know he is a gsd mix but not sure what he is mixed with. Hank is very sweet & loving. He is pretty mellow and laid back in the house. He will follow you eveywhere as he loves being by your side. He is house trained and will go in his crate when you tell him to. He is very food motivated so training is easy. He loves car rides and walks ouside. He can become possessive of his owners and may show leash aggression because of that, but he actually plays very well with other dogs. He is not good with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Denver German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
