Phoebe's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Phoebe's Story...
This is Phoebe. She was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation. She had never been inside, on a leash, or touched by people. She is slowing coming along and learning to trust people. She really trust dogs so she follows their lead. She needs someone who will be patient with her progress. She does great with other dogs to follow in the house and is comfortable in her crate. She would be great for someone who is looking for a companion for their dog and will be patient for her to come to them in her own time. A fenced yard is a must. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl please email info@forrescue.net for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a PORTLAND Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in PORTLAND, or seeking a Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in PORTLAND.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in PORTLAND already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a PORTLAND breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Border Collie/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in PORTLAND paves the way for another one to be saved.
