Dot's Story...
Dot is our small girl with big attitude, which you can see from her picture!. She was dropped off on our doorstep with 5 litter mates. She was very sick and required medical attention for the first two weeks she was here. After daily fluids, vitamins, and antibiotics, Dot is on the mend. She is a little shy, which is why she is currently in foster care. Each day she is getting one on one attention from her foster family and each day she is getting use to household life and people. She would greatly benefit from a family that wants to give her a lot of attention. She's just looking for her chance at a furever home :)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dot, a Orlando Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
