Molly II's Story...
Molly was born 5/5/08. She is in a foster home with her sister Olivia (as of 12/8/10). From the foster mom: This little girl is Molly, sister to Olivia, born 05/05/2008. She is very shy - we don't know why because the litter was pretty outgoing, mom included, but we are working on her socialization issues. She is a pretty tortie girl - likes to eat & play with feather toys & the laser light. She loves the adult male that lives in her foster home. He's her protector & he keeps her groomed. Please call 481 5262 for information on Molly or any of our cats. Molly is being fostered by Val. All Save Our Strays Inc cats have been sterilized, given one distemper vaccine, a rabies vaccine and have been tested for FeLV if under 6 months of age and for both FeLV/FIV if older. Also all have been microchipped. Chips are always registered to Save Our Strays. A contract must be completed prior to any adoption after approval of the adopter by one of our adoption volunteers. Please note cats come in and out of foster homes so seeing a cat on this site does not guarantee it will be available when you contact us. Also we do not adopt on a "first come first serve" basis. Our volunteers, particularly the foster homes, have first right of adoption even if at some point the photo is posted on this site. The adoption fee is $50.00 (subject to change.) Renters will be asked to provide proof that pets are allowed. Placements are made based on the needs of each cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly II, a Indian Rocks Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Indian Rocks Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Indian Rocks Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indian Rocks Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indian Rocks Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indian Rocks Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
