LUCKY's Story...
LUCKY IS A MALE, NEUTERED CHIHUAHUA MIX. HE IS APPROXIMATELY 2 YEARS OLD. WE RESCUED HIM FROM A KILL SHELTER. HE WAS SHY AT FIRST BUT NOW VERY FRIENDLY AND LOVABLE. MORE INFORMATION WILL BE ADDED AS IT IS OBTAINED. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET LUCKY, PLEASE EMAIL US AT
INFO@PETPROJECTFOUDATION.ORG.

STARTING THE ADOPTION PROCESS:
You need to be 18 years or older, complete an application http://www.petprojectfoundation.org/dogadoption.pdf and be interviewed. It is strongly recommended that all members of your household and any dogs you have at home be brought in to socialize with the dog you wish to adopt in our play yard. You must be able to verify with your landlord that you may have a pet if you are renting. We reserve the right to deny the adoption of any pet for any reason. Also any additional requirements for the specific pet you are interested in adopting need to be met. We adopt to the best home, not necessarily the first application turned in. Dog adoptions are $125.

Please email info@petprojectfoundation to check if your desired pet is still available or the status of your application. Our voicemail line is 949.595.8899.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCKY, a San Clemente Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Clemente, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Clemente.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Clemente already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Clemente breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Clemente paves the way for another one to be saved.
