Delightful Daisy's Story...
DOB June 8, 2011. This beautiful little girl, true to her name is a total delight! She has tons of energy; she’s bold, adventurous and full of silly kitty antics! Daisy has discovered her tail (which is incredibly long) and she entertains everyone with her tail chasing game - herself most of all. Daisy is super affectionate (particularly when there is food to be had), but she’s not especially fond of being picked up. When she’s in the mood be prepared to have a snuggler in bed with you at night!

Daisy had a serious eye infection as a young kitten and her left eye has some scar tissue but, thankfully, her vision does not appear to have been impacted. Daisy is such a courageous gal that she’ll do well in any environment, but we think she’d be happiest if she has a kitty companion.

Be prepared to fall in love with this incredibly gorgeous gal’s striking good looks and luxuriously soft coat. You’ll be absolutely smitten with her kitten 'chirp'!

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call the TCR Hotline - 416-538-8592 (press 1 for adoptions and leave a message).

An adoption counselor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note: ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
