Buddy (male) 2 YEAR OLD LAB MIX – HOUSETRAINED – FULLY VETTED – FAMILY MOVING
Hi! My name is Buddy and I'm looking for my very own buddy. About a year ago when I was 1, I was living in a field in Mississippi with some other dogs. I had sores all over me where I had been beaten and lots of fleas. My foster family helped me heal and you can see by my picture how handsome I am now. I think I'm part yellow lab and something else really great. I weigh 52 lb and am 21" tall at my shoulders. I can't make puppies because I was "fixed". And I've had all my shots so, I'm ready for a permanent home. My foster family has to move to another city and can't take me with them. I have to tell you...I'm afraid of men and really wouldn't do well in a home with children under the age of 7. But I am loyal, loving, housebroken, kennel trained and come to my name. If you're looking for a Buddy, I'm your man. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30.00 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!
