I am already spayed and housetrained.
(Born March 2011, 4 lbs.) Little Katrina came to us in quite a state. She needed to be spayed and she was very mistrustful of humans, preferring to bite first and ask questions later. She was so aggressive we named her Katrina after the hurricane. She has been spayed and is learning quickly that humans can indeed be trusted, and is starting to relax and be a happy, sociable bunny. Possibly because she had to fight for her food and was cared for poorly when young, Katrina is going to be on the small side her whole life, but she is very beautiful and very active and full of zest. Because of residual trust issues we do not recommend her for a family with children. She would do best with an adult household that is experienced in handling special bunnies, like Katrina.

Shelter Info...
Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue, Inc., has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits since 1986. We are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer domestic rabbit rescue organization and no-kill shelter, housing more than 100 rabbits at any time. Over the past twenty-three years we have placed over 2500 rabbits with caring, adoptive parents. We work together with county agencies to check on abuse situations and act as expert witnesses for trials. We offer humane traps to the general public to capture stray rabbits. We only accept rabbits from other rescue agencies and work hand in hand with the Arizona Humane Society. We also partner with the Southern Arizona Rabbit Rescue (Tucson) and the local wild rabbit rescue (AZ Fish & Game licensed).
