Dozer's Story...
Courtesy Listing! Please contact tammy_jd@hotmail.com and not the group listed on this page.

Dozer is a 4 year old American Bull dog- Pit bull Terrier mix that is currently in a home but needs to be re-homed due to a change in the family. A new baby and new small dog is too much for the family to handle. Downtown Dog Rescue is helping Dozer’s family find him another loving home. He has done nothing wrong, their family changed from a couple with one dog to a family with two dogs and a new baby. He is friendly with all people, including the baby, is fully trained, walks great on a leash, knows basic obedience, is house trained, low energy, an all around wonderful dog that would do best in a home where he can be an only dog. Please contact tammy_jd@hotmail.com for more information on meeting Dozer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dozer, a Bellflower American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
