Buster's Story...
Buster is a stunning white and cream boy who was 12 weeks old at the beginning of December. Buster and his brother were rescued from a landscape farm where one of our volunteers works. They were very tiny when found so to keep them from growing up feral we brought then into rescue. His foster mom has this to say. "He has become my snuggle buddy. If I'm sitting down, and he's tired, he's on my lap. He sleeps either right beside me or on my pillow at night. He LOVES to fetch, especially with his little soft mouse. He will drop the mouse into your hand. He wants to close to you, following you. Coming from a feral beginning, he has really become a sweet baby. He also doesn't seem to be afraid of much, even the sweeper. His name says it all, he busts his way into most things." His brother has been adopted and now its Buster;s turn. He would make a great addition for the right family. The adoption fee for Buster is $100.00 to reimburse IMPACT for his medical costs to date, which includes a negative FeLuk / FIV test, a full series of kitten shots, parasite treatment and the neuter when he is older. IMPACT adopts only to residents of the metro St. Louis area, contact (314) 995-9260 for more information or go on line to our website www.impact4animals.com complete and submit an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a High Ridge Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in High Ridge, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in High Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in High Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a High Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in High Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
