My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Millie Twinkles is a precious little longhair dachsund. She was (gasp) found in a garbage dumpster. Everyone that knows dachsunds knows that their legs are MUCH too short to get into a dumpster so she was put there deliberately by an unkind person. Millie seems to have had quite a rough life before being rescued. The vet estimates her between 5 & 7 years of age. She has a completely healed tear in her ear and on her lip. Her lip gives her the appearance that she always has a cute "elvis" smile going on. She's a mini dachsund that gets along great with other pets. She's shy when she first meets you, which is no surprise considering her past. Millie has a very slight (grade 2) heart murmer which did not affect her being spayed and the vet feels she is ready for her new home!
