My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sasha is a young girl that was raised in a very rural area. She is now learning about the world around her and is coming along very nicely. She loves people of all ages and would love to find someone that would continue her socialization and help her learn to be a confident companion. Sasha is just a pup at approximately 8 - 10 months old and weighs just under 45 lbs.

Sasha was born in a rural area and eventually brought to the pound to be discarded. She is a loving girl that definitely deserves the change to find a loving home. She is very clean and quiet in the home and currently is being fostered in an apartment without any issues. She gets along fine with the other dog in the home although she is still thinking that food is scarce and must be fed on her own. For this reason she would probably do best as an only dog. She has not been socialized with cats and although there is a cat in her foster home, she is not given the opportunity to really interact with it.

Sasha is very friendly with everyone including strangers and just loves any attention and affection she can get. Her current foster lives in Toronto and although she is scared, she is getting used to the sounds of the city including riding on a bus, and is coming along well. She is fully house trained and can be left on her own for a full working day with no problems.

Sasha is a very affectionate pup and with the right guidance she will be a very loyal and loving companion. She will not be more than 50 lbs when full grown so is a nice size for a small home or an apartment. She would do very well as a single's companion or in a home with older children that would like to work and play with her. She would love to have a backyard to play around in and daily walks to continue her socialization as well as for exercise.

Sasha would be a great candidate for obedience classes as she is very willing to please. She seems to be more motivated over her ball then she is with food. She loves to play ball and a home with older kids that would enjoy tossing a ball around in the backyard, would be in heaven to Sasha. She is a curious pup who takes everything in and although still timid in some new situations, she trusts her person and is very willing to do whatever is asked of her.

Sasha was totally overlooked at the pound but in her foster home she is proving to be a wonderful girl, full of love and eager to please and gain affection. She is well behaved and always enjoys being with people. As she gains confidence and learns that the world is not such a scary place we are confident she will make an amazing family pet.
