Dew's Story...
Black Mouth Cur? What is that you ask. That' what I am, well actually I am
a dog, and a great one at that, but if you wanna get more specific that's
my breed. I am a fabulous fella, full of love and sweet as can be like a
big ol teddy bear but I am still young, active and proud to admit that I
am quite strong- I bet I can beat any dog in my play group at an arm
wrestling match- oh how I love to play games with my canine companions! I do
love children too, but they need to be able to handle my size and
strength. Don't think I am just some ill-mannered brut, oh no, I am
housebroken and crate trained already! Come on in, I'd love to meet the
fam and show you what fabulous dog I am. What Dew you say? 2 years
old-65lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip,
reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health
insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dew, a Portland Black Mouth Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur for sale in Portland, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
