Loki's Story...
Loki and his sister Tabby were rescued from a gas station with busy traffic when they were little. Loki likes to sit on your lap while you are working on the computer. Loki's favorite toy is the feather stick. Both Loki and Tabby spent much of their young life at a school where the students would harness train them and foster them on the weekend, but most days and nights they were in a cage. They both deserve a chance with a real family and real love. Tabby loves her brother Loki very much and they really need to be adopted together. They are best friends, LOOKING FOR FOSTER FOR THESE TWO TOGETHER. I really love the Loki.

About Our Rescue Group...
Catbout Colonies is a non profit organization that traps and neuters/spays homeless and abandoned cats in the Central Florida area to prevent further breeding. Unfortunately, we do find many baby and young kittens that cannot survive in their current outside living conditions. All the cats and kittens we rescue from the streets are given the medical and nutritional care necessary to ensure they are healthy and suitable for adoption. If you are looking to adopt or foster a cat or kitten in the Central Florida area, please contact us for details.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki, a Orlando Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
