My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, my name is Belle. My foster mommy says that I am a sweet little angel from heaven! I am 3 years old. I am absolutely beautiful and I just gaze at my people all day with my darling little face:) I am very mellow and quiet and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE belly rubs! Just about everytime someone talks to me I roll over on my back and wiggle my feet to get them to pet my belly. If they stop my tummy rub too soon, I hop up, tap them on the leg, then roll right over again for some more. It's the cutest thing you've ever seen!

I get along well with some dogs, and not so well with others. What can I say? I can be picky about who I socialize with, isn't everyone? I'm also pretty good with kitties, as long as they don't mind me sniffing their tushes :) Most of all, I love hanging out with my people, I am VERY loving and snuggly.

I was surrendered to Love-A-Bull as one of a breeding pair of bulldogs. I sure do wish that my family had spent some of the money they made from my puppies to give me the medical attention that I needed. You see, I had a torn cruciate in both of my hind legs. The cruciate ligament is what keeps the knee joint stable and when it becomes torn it is extremely painful. I love to go for walks, run around and play in the backyard, and chase the garden hose, but doing all of those things hurt so badly that I would limp afterwards.

Leave it to Love-A-Bull to save the day! Even though it cost thousands of dollars, the rescue made sure I got the surgeries I so badly needed. I had to spend 8 weeks on crate rest following each surgery (that's 16 weeks total, ick!!) I did not like that AT ALL, but it was necessary for my full recovery. I got SO lucky to have a 'surgery sponsor' (he knows who he is) who help pay for my legs to get fixed. WOW I am a lucky gal!

Well now I'm all healed up and I'm in tip top shape! I feel like a new woman and I'm ready to start my life with my forever family! I want a family that gives me lots of hugs and kisses every single day. Whoever gets to adopt me will be the luckiest family in the whole, entire world :)

I am however, going to require a home with little or no stairs, not because I can't bound up them, I just can't take that chance again. Also, a home with kids would be IDEAL! :)

IF you are interested in adopting me, AND you live in ARIZONA, you must FIRST fill out Love A Bull's online adoption application. If we feel you are the best match for me, we will contact you. The app can be found at www.arizonabulldogs.com That is the FIRST step to an adoption.

*****MY adoption donation is $525******
