Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Belle is a very sweet girl! She lived outside on the Ft. McDowell Indian Reservation where her owners never bothered to have her spayed. When she had puppies they decided they would keep a couple pups and give her up. That actually turned out to be good news for Belle, because now she can be adopted by a wonderful family and have a very happy life. Belle is really a darling girl! When I picked her up she rode in the back seat leaning up against my 3 year old son as if she was just so grateful to be close to somebody. The dogs on the Reservation come from many generations of mixed breeds. She likely has some shepherd and also some Labrador or golden retriever. Belle is good with other dogs and with children. She hasn't been around cats, but she has a gentle demeanor and I am sure she would be fine with them. Belle is smart and willing to please. She is one of those dogs that can adapt to any situation - she would walk, hike or just chill out and be a couch potato. She is young, about 1.5 years old, but over the "naughty puppy" phase. When you look into her eyes, there is something very wise there. Bell's adoption fee is $150 and that includes de-worming, spay, microchip, rabies & DAPP vaccinations.
