My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World!
My name is Decker and my Mom says I’m a perfect bichon boy. She says I’m a happy, friendly,
and adorable bichon boy of about three or four - and just as affectionate as I can be. You see I LOVE to give kisses (to show my gratitude.) Mom says I have already worked my charm on her, Dad and the kids – and I wasn’t even trying very hard!

When I came to my foster home, it wasn’t long before I taught Mom how to play – and I taught her well! Then I taught her how to snuggle. She’s getting very good at it, too! While my favorite game is probably ‘fetch’ I’m also happy to play ‘race’ and ‘catch me’. And my human brother says I love to play any game he wants to play. Oh and did I tell you I LOVE kids? Well I do!

My doggy foster brother has taught me a lot, too. Like how to play and use the doggy door and
chew on these things called bones. Or are they called toys? Anyway they are good for a little guy
like me.

I love to go for walks and rides in the car (Mom says I am a good co-pilot!) and am willing to go anywhere you want to go! Dad says I’m sweet, a quick learner and energetic! I’m also a very good boy so I get to snuggle in the BIG bed but then sleep in my own bed on the floor (near Mom and Dad, of course!).

I’m housebroken and have learned to use the doggy door but there’s one challenge. You see my doggy foster brother is bigger than I am (I’m only 15 pounds) –so when he goes through the doggy door and I follow him, the plastic from the doggy door ‘gets’ me. I’m learning not to race out the doggy door right after him though. Geez, what’s a well-behaved guy got to do?

Mom says I am eager to please, very smart and a master cuddle bug. What I really need now is a forever family to snuggle with, play with, ride with and call my own. Will you be the one for me? If you think you are, pleases complete our adoption application and let’s meet soon.

Bichon waves and wags,
Delightful and Playful Decker
