I am a young girl, maybe 2-3 years old and they say I still sometimes act like a puppy. Now that I am no longer scared, I am happy and energetic. They tell me that I have to keep my front feet on the ground more, but I love giving face kisses and people are tall. I could knock little ones down in my enthusiasm, so I should not go into a home with young kids. I am working on what they call "manners" but when things are very exciting, I sometimes forget what I learn. I would like to go to school (they say it is called obedience school) with my new family so that I can learn to be a regal lady. They say I am a good girl and I have not had a single accident in my foster home. I am crate trained and I like to eat and relax in my crate. I like to eat, I was cold and hungry before, and I am so happy to have plenty of food now. I am also growing a brand new, shiny winter coat. I also like going for walks and running in my yard. They say I am energetic and will need some exercise. They say I have a great smile and I am a happy girl, if you bring some treats I will warm up to you quickly. I am a little afraid of other dogs so I will bark first, but I will make friends with them with some patience. I am looking forward to starting a new life in the new year with my forever family.
It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption. If you can offer our sweet girl Della a loving forever home, please submit an on-line application by
