Nemo's Story...
Nemo was stuck in the water under a dock in Marina del Rey. He was holding on to some cables that were under the dock that enabled him to keep his head out of the water. The hypothermic dog was rescued by Marine Animal Rescue with assistance from Marina del Rey Sheriffs. From there, we rescued Nemo from the county pound and he's now available for adoption.

If you are interested in meeting Nemo, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our Saturday Adoptions at Centinela Feed.

[Nemo is about 1 years old and 50 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nemo, a Marina del Rey Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
