Gidget in Austin's Story...
Gidget is a doll!!! She is about 1 1/2 years old and is a love bug. Gidget has her bag packed and is ready for her forever home.

Gidget is a darling!!!! little JRT. Her foster Daddy is completely taken with her. He loves her spunk and smarts- very JRT!!! Pure. She is agile, smart, and loving- but not hyper, just full of personality, and did I say smart!!!She does listen to discipline but will do best in a home with other male dogs only and not another female- she needs to be the main girl dog in the family. Practically a perfect doggie and we wish we could keep her!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gidget in Austin, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
