My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Spike is a wonderful sweet quiet little guy. He is a people pleaser who just wants to be with you and be loved. He would do well in just about any family situation. He is good with other dogs, cats and respectful children of all ages. A very sweet little companion and a wonderful pet for any family. He is a young dog and weighs just 17 lbs.


Here is what his foster family had to say about Spike:


Spike is a very cheerful, friendly and loving little dog. He gets along well with everyone and makes friends easily. He has never shown aggression in any situation. He is a bit shy when first approached by strangers but it doesn't last long before he is accepting and wanting to be your best friend. He is great with other pets.


He is not a barker and will only bark when it is appropriate such as when someone knocks on the door. He currently sleeps in a crate at night and although he is fine he really doesn't like it and would much prefer to be sleeping beside you. He eats well and loves his treats making him easy to train. He knows some commands but is always eager to please and wants to do whatever you ask of him. He is fully house trained and rides well in the car. He has great house manners and walks well on a leash.


He is a very sweet dog and just an all around lovely pet. Any family will be lucky to have him.
