Zoe's Story...
Zoe is an adorable 2-4 year old Dachshund She may be purebred and weighs 14 lbs. She is current on her vaccinations and is spayed and micro-chipped. She is on the Advantage Multi made by Bayer for flea and heartworm and she is free of heartworms. No other meds. She was found abandoned with an injured leg - taken into the shelter where they attempted to treat her injured left rear leg but could not save it and she had to have her leg amputated. Even after what she has been through, she is sweet, loving affectionate and well-mannered. She is very healthy and active. She loves to ride in the car and play with her little toys. She loves to sit right next to you… Our Vet calls her tripod and says she is the sweetest Dachshund he has ever met... Zoe would be a fantastic addition to her new forever home...

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoe, a Cranford Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Cranford, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Cranford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cranford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cranford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cranford paves the way for another one to be saved.
