Amber's Story...
Hi, my name is Amber. I am a 5 year old, buff colored Cocker Spaniel looking for a new family to love.
My mom and dad are not in good health, so they wanted us to find a new forever home while I am still at a young age. I love kids, get along fine with cats. My tail never seems to stop wagging. I listen pretty well when I am told to do something. I walk well on a leash and just love spending time with my people
I am not crazy about other dogs. My foster mom tells me I am an alpha dog, some dogs I tolerate and some dogs I don't. So she thinks I should be the only dog in my new home, so I get all the lovin and attention that is given out.
I promise I'll love you forever. Can you make room in your heart and your home for me.
Amber is microchipped, spayed & up to date on her shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet her. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amber, a Cincinnati Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
