Izzy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Izzy's Story...
IZZY WAS LEFT BEHIND ON A CHAIN WHEN HER ORIGINAL OWNER MOVED FROM AN APARTMENT HOUSE IN CLEVELAND. THE NEW OCCUPANTS AT THE APARTMENT LEFT HER ON THE CHAIN AND WAS FEEDING HER SCRAPS, OCCASIONALLY. SHE HAD NO SHELTER AND WAS IN THE FREEZING RAIN WHEN I FIRST SAW HER. I PROMISED THEM I WOULD HAVE HER SPAYED AND HELP PLACE HER IN A HOME WHERE SHE WOULD BE LOVED AND CARED FOR.

IZZY IS A VERY ACTIVE DOG AND LOVES TO RUN. SHE JUMPS STRAIGHT UP TO CATCH AND LOVES ATTENTION FROM EVERYONE. I HAVE WALKED HER DAILY ON A RETRACTABLE LEASH AND SHE DOES WELL. I LET HER LOOSE TO RUN AND SHE RETURNS WHEN CALLED. SHE HAS ONLY BARKED ONE TIME SINCE I TOOK HER ON 11/29. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Harrisonburg Pug/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Boxer for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Pug/Boxer dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Boxer breeders who help with Pug/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
