March 12, 2007 - Meet Terry! Terry is a sweet, cuddly, 8 week old Lab/Chow (best guess!) mix. He and his littermates were rescued from a very rural shelter where they had little chance of being adopted.

Terry is a happy go lucky little pup that loves to play. He is not the least bit intimidated by the larger dogs in his foster home, and tries his best to keep up with them.

Terry is utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He will be neutered this week, and will be ready for his forever home on 3/21.

Terry must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family. We do not adopt to anyone under the age of 21.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Terry- adopted, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
