A Golden Retriever mix to share your time together, hiking, running, and just hanging out together? Then keep reading. . . Remi just may be your GRFR Golden!
Remi is around 2 years old. He came to GRFR from the stray life on his own -- hard to imagine how he did it! So he is still learning some of the finer points of family dogs who are raised from puppyhood by loving humans. He is doing really well with his foster family. So well that they would love to adopt Remi, but they have three resuce dogs of their own already.
Like all vital, young, healthy dogs Remi thrives on activity and exercise. With Spring here and Summer coming soon, Remi will be sure that you are in shape too! Remi loves anything and everything to do with the out of doors -- especially being with you. He says, "Outdoors with you is the best: hikes, jogs, laps at the dog park, and daily walks. Let's go now!" Remi also craves sharing relaxed and homey indoor time with you -- cuddling on the couch while you watch a movie, laying by your feet while you do desk work, or just hanging out with you and your friends and their dogs. He is a golden-hearted velcro guy . . . who loves to have you near, whether you are hiking, camping, dreaming, reading, cooking or unwinding after a long day.
Remi has a short list of just four "gotta haves" to share with you:
**A dog sibling -- being an only dog is not for him; other dogs are so much fun!
**No kids or kitty cats-- they are a little too unpredictable for Remi
** A yard with privacy type fence -- 5 ft or taller as Remi is "part kangaroo" LOL
**Loving leadership and TLC from his humans -- he promises his loyalty and unconditional love to you
