Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Larry will help you bring out your inner goofball. He's so much fun to watch outside running and tossing the stuffy toys.
He's a slender boned darker red purebred Golden from a puppy mill, so he's had a few issues, most of which disappeared when he was given a chance to run full out every morning. He likes to get in a refresher run in the afternoon also, if your schedule permits.
He's super sweet and craves affection. So much so that he will get right up close and personal when you're down at his level. He needs lots of positive reinforcement, and a little bit of training. He knows SIT and OUT, but can't seem to master STAY just yet. He manages to wiggle his bottom across the floor so he can be near you. Hey, he's still sitting, right? He's pretty much house-trained now, as long as you remember to let him outside AFTER breakfast as well as when you first get up in the morning.
Loves to run after anything you throw for him; has no concept about bringing it back.
He luvvvvvvs kitty cats, and never hurts them, but will chase them if they're outdoors. He will chase anything that runs from him.
Don't be surprised to find him curled up in the middle of YOUR bed instead of his as you're preparing for a night's sleep. But he's good about getting down and into his own bed where he sleeps soundly.
Not a jumper, but does like to go down the road when the gate is open, so needs a fenced yard. Larry will be happiest in a home with another energetic, friendly dog ... but he also loves to come back inside and curl up in a cozy place and konk out.
Takes treats gently, loves to be snuggled; would love to sleep on your bed every night if that's good for you. Should NOT be crated, and will not need crating if given enough opportunity to exercise.
