My name is Daggoo!

Chihuahua Mix Dog for adoption in Reno, Nevada - Daggoo

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Daggoo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Daggoo's Story...
In the book Moby Dick, Daggoo is an enormous and physically very powerful Africian Tribesman. He is immense, strong, calm and black. The only thing the fictional Daggoo and the real Daggoo have in common is the "calm" part. At about 15 pounds, Daggoo is NOT immense or powerful. He is just a little senior chihuahua rescued from deaths door and brought to Boxers and Buddies for a chance at a retirement with someone that will love him forever.

Although Daggoo is around 10 years old, please don't forget that 17 is an average chihuahua lifespan, and, although a senior, he is not knocking on heaven's door just yet. Take a chance, help a dog in need, Daggoo wants to be yours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daggoo, a Reno Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Reno, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
