Albert's Story...
Well, hello there! Albert Butt Sniffer the 3rd here to congratulate you on your very fine decision to search out such a chap as myself. Well friends, I must say I’m getting a little bored of the shelter life. Oh man, I’ll be honest here, I want out! This shelter business is a real yawn cocktail. See, a kid like me is a real family man. I believe a loveless life is a living death.... In other words I have a big heart and none to share it with… I’m a sweet little pup who’s tail is always waggin’ , a happy fella in need of love, training and a warm bed. I’m a handsome little bugger too…I enjoy playing with rugrats, other dogs, cats and warm hearted folks such as yourself, so why not give baby Albert here a chance? 4 1/2 months old-16lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Albert, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
