Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a male Beagle/Rat Terrier mix born approximately 4/05. I am up to date on shots, neutered, weigh approximately 20 lbs. and completed heartworm treatment 11/31/06. I'm an energetic fellow who will require a secure fenced yard to run and play in. I seem to be housebroken and am very smart and learn things very quickly. I like other dogs, but all depending on their personality, I can be a little alpha with some. Let's just say I like to pick and choose my friends. (Speaking of friends, I do not wish to make friends with any cat-I only like to chase them). I love people but sometimes come off the wrong way (barking like most dogs do) when you first arrive at my house to visit. That all calms down when you pay attention to me. I love to play fetch or any other game you wish to play with me. Most of all, I love to be with my people. I only have one request, please don't let the other furbabies mess with me while I am eating - I obviously had to scrap for my food while roaming the streets previously and am just getting used to the fact that the food will always be there now. I would not be good in a home with children under the age of about 9 since I can get overly excited.
