My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After devoting his life and love to his person or family, Bubba was unceremoniously dumped at the front door of a shelter in a cardboard box. His former owners didn’t even have the decency to go inside and surrender him .

The shelter sent out rescue pleas for Bubba complete with video of him wandering around the exercise yard wagging his tail. We gave a big sigh (we love the older boys but hardly anyone will adopt them) and decided to make him one of our seniors.

The first thing we had to do was get him healthy enough for a dental. His teeth were so bad he had a bad infection. After a few weeks of good food, good sleep and serious antibiotics, Bubba got a thorough teeth cleaning, including the removal of seven teeth.

Bubba is proving to be a really easy dog. He sleeps quietly in his crate. He is very friendly with all humans. He is fine with all the other dogs. He enjoys a good cuddle.

If you want be worshiped and have an earth friendly heater for your bed, Bubba is your guy. He really tries very hard to not be a bother.
Couch potato homes are welcome as Bubba doesn’t feel any need to go on daily walks. He’d rather snuggle and watch TV with you.

Bubba is also a very quiet dog. The only time we have heard him is when we forgot he was outside. Then he let us know he had a voice as he wanted back in!! (He is still finding the doggie door a little intimidating)

Bubba is neutered, vaccinated and has had a complete physical and blood work
If you are interested in Bubba , please fill out an adoption application at www.scdr.org and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.
The tax deductible donation for Bubba is a modest donation to rescue.
