Freddy's Info...

Freddy's Story...
Freddy & Drusilla, about 1 year old, 65 lbs, two bonded pigs sold as "teacup pigs", were very pampered but as piglets do, they root and dig just to be a pig! Times 2! The owner did not want them tearing up his yard anymore and they had "outgrown" their size requirements so they were turned into the shelter. Freddy is very passive and loving and will do anything for a belly rub, Ethel is the dominant female but is also very friendly and personable, just a little leader she is! If you can provide these two cuties a large yard and room to play, they will become wonderful members of your household! They are spayed/neuterd & vaccinated/wormed/microchipped and ready for a new start to a new life! Please complete our Adoption Application (http://www.vegaspigpets.org/Las_Vegas_Pigs_need_Homes.php) if you can provide these two the room they need! Thank you for looking into adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freddy, a Las Vegas Pig (Potbellied) was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pig (Potbellied) for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Pig (Potbellied) from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pig (Potbellied) breeders who help with Pig (Potbellied) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
