HOWIE-Adopted!!'s Story...
HOWIE is a 4-5 year old Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix.
This little guy is healthy, housebroken and loves to cuddle.
He is curious and does like to know what is going on. He is a good "alert dog". Although, he is not overly hyper.
HOWIE would make a wonderful lap dog/companion pet, in an adult home.
He does like to sleep, in bed, with his human. He will share the bed and human affection, with other pets.
HOWIE is about 7 lbs. He has blended in well, with all the other dogs, in his foster home.
It is obvious, that HOWIE was someone's pet, before he, sadly, ended up in a shelter.
He is a joy to foster!
HOWIE is very sweet and just wants a family for life!

HOWIE is being fostered in Brooksville, FL.
The adoption donation, for HOWIE, is $175.00.
This donation helps with our vetting costs- mandatory spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HOWIE-Adopted!!, a Brooksville Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
