I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
I am the happiest, most well-rounded guy you will ever meet! I have excellent manners, my sense of humor is the greatest and do I give good kisses! My foster mom loves me to pieces; she sometimes squeezes me a little too tight and always plants those big kisses all over me! She says that I am such a good boy and I know how to do everything. My foster mom knew I didnt feel good when she first rescued me and she discovered that I have congestive heart failure. My initial veterinary expenses were about $600.00, which ABGRA is still trying to pay off. I am doing very well now with my daily meds, which cost only about $30.00 a month.

I ride in the car perfect as I love to see people and go places, Im very social. I take a shower with her, which is great, it makes me smell good and I get extra kisses. I love to sleep with her and get all cozy under the covers. I just like to follow her around and lie near her and hear her voice telling me she loves me, it makes my heart sing! I like to go for a stroll every day as it keeps me in shape. I really like a fenced yard so that I can go in/out on my own and explore. I sometimes take a nap in the sun, it feels good. I am happy watching TV with you or reading a book too.
I admit I am not the puppy some people want but I am way better! I have a few good years left that I would love to spend with someone that appreciates me and loves me back - isnt that everyones dream? I dont chew your shoes, I dont dig holes in the yard, I dont bark, I dont run away, I dont potty in the house AND I dont drive you crazy with puppy stunts. I do not care much for children as they are too rough at times. I dream of my family being home most of the time - I just want to be a good boy and love you!

American Brussels Griffon Rescue Alliance Inc. (ABGRA) came into being to meet the needs of the Brussels Griffons and Affenpinschers who are abandoned, might be abandoned, or whose circumstances we can improve. We will endeavor to accept these Griffs, regardless of their circumstance, knowing that we might be their last hope. We strive to leave no Griff behind.
We are especially mindful of the Griffs that have spent their lives in commercial breeding facilities and who will have a chance at a better life through our efforts.
ABGRA is a non-profit national rescue group founded to provide commercially bred Brussels Griffons and Affenpinschers a chance at living in a home for the first time as a pet.

All adoptions go through our website-
Our adoption donations are from $200 - $350 and reflect the vetting costs incured for each dog as well as some dogs whose costs far exceed the donation.
We interview all references provided and require a home visit before placements. An adoption contract is required. If the dog is returned within 30 days, a refund will be issued. ABGRA requires adopters be 25 years old, or older, and are looking for stable permanent adoptors. In most cases, these breeds are not recommened for families with young children or for people who are not home for long periods of time. They are the perfect pet for someone who can take their dog to work with them, work from home, or are retired.

We strive to leave no griff behind and rescue these breeds from city/county shelters when foster home space is available. We are an all foster home based rescue that provides complete vetting for our dogs prior to adoption.
