Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a very sweet girl. We are guessing on her breed but she is still very beautiful! She was rescued from a high kill shelter where she would have been put to sleep. She is healthy and doing great. She likes to be outside but also to be with a nice person. She is afraid at first and we think she may have been abused which is causing her fear. She is a darling and sweet girl who deserves a good life. She is about 10 to 12 months old and weighs around 45 lbs.

Lucy's adoption fee is $220 and she will be spayed, vet checked, heartworm negative, wormed, up to date on shots and groomed. If you are interested in meeting her, please email for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Westfield Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog for sale in Westfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Westfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bulldog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
