Gypsy's Story...
California - Sacramento
Gypsy is a 13 inch tri color beagle who is about 2 years old. Gypsy was a stray who came from a shelter and we do not have any background information on her. However, what we do know is that she is doing very well in her foster home, enjoys the company of the other beagle, does not mind sharing her home with a cat, and is learning how to use the doggie door. Gypsy would do very well in a home with another dog for companionship or a family with a flexible schedule. Like all beagles, she also needs a family who is mindful of open doors and secure backyards to prevent her from going on a beagle adventure. Gypsy also enjoys going to the dog park and for walks, too.

Please contact Eva if you would like to welcome Gypsy into your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Elk Grove Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Elk Grove, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Elk Grove.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elk Grove already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elk Grove breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elk Grove paves the way for another one to be saved.
