Claire had two types of mange when she was found: the contagious sarcoptic variety which, after treatment, she no longer has. The other is Demodectic non-contagious mange which she probably will have for the rest of her life. Claire get Cephalexin (one week off, one week on) to maintain her elegant appearance.

We have one warning about Claire: don’t leave your vegetables, particularly potatoes, within snout reach because Claire has been known to steal them! Claire is a Malinois mix. She is spayed, 5 years old and weighs in at a svelte 50-55lbs(depending on how many potatoes she scores…) Even more than vegetables,Claire loves people. She is a sweet, happy and social girl who always has a doggie smile for everyone she meets.
