Paquita's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Paquita's Story...
This is Paquita the Min Pin. She is approximately 3 years old.She is a cool little dog but needs some training. She has been with us for 7 months and has improved substantially since her rescue. She was rescued from outside Downey Shelter where her owner was preparing to turn her in. In her time here she has learned to play with toys and chase a ball. She has learned to relax a little bit although she is very hyper which is typical of her breed. She is going to be spayed this week and will be ready for her for ever home. She is very loving and always wants to spend time with you. She would like a home where she will be loved and taken places and played with. She would also like someone patient that will be willing to give her training and time because it will take a couple of weeks for her to adapt to you and your home. Food is a big motivator for her. Her adoption fee is $100 Petco Gift Card (used to the care of our other foster animals)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paquita, a Santee Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Santee, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Santee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santee paves the way for another one to be saved.
