Benajmin was a hairless puppy suffering from two kinds of mange when he was found at only four weeks old in the woods. Then, 8 days after he was vaccinated, Benjamin came down with Parvo-virus which may have compromised his immune system and may be why he has permanent, non-contagious demodectic mange. He is on a schedule of medication with Cephalexin which controls the condition. Benjamin may need to be on medication the rest of his life

As you can see, Benjamin's skin problems haven't prevented him from being a very cute and lovable dog. His hair feels stubbly and there's a few places where it is missing but that won't interfere with you petting him to pieces when you connect with this sweet guy.

Benjamin is now 5 years old, neutered and is a Malinois mix who weighs about 55lbs. He needs a special person who understand his special needs and sees beyond his skin problems to his great heart.
