FELICITY's Story...
You may meet and apply to adopt Felicity at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JANUARY 15th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Felicity is a 2 month old female puppy. Her mom is a mix of Poodle, Dachshund and Terrier. Felicity looks a lot like her mom and has the Dachshund coloring with curly Terrier/Poodle fur. She got her name from the patch of black fur under her muzzle or chin that continues up each side of her dainty little face, forming the cutest little smile. She looks so happy (feliz- in Spanish), therefore she became “Felicity.” Felicity can often be found quietly observing the others or sleeping in her own bed. She plays well with everyone, but she likes her quiet time too, especially in someone’s arms or in a peaceful space. She explores within the safety of her favorite area, but is seldom found outside what is familiar. Felicity's game of choice is ”tug-o-war,” and she usually wins despite her small size! She is a healthy, happy little puppy and a joy to have around. Felicity was born at the shelter along with 6 others in her litter, and has been raised in a foster home since she was one week old. She will make a wonderful, warm and loving companion dog. All puppies will be spayed/neutered prior to going home.

Felicity's adoption donation is $400 (TAX DEDUCTABLE). She will be SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Felicity is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis & Richard and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FELICITY, a Newport Beach Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
