Renki's Story...
Hi my name is Renki. My foster mom thinks I am a cattle dog/ beagle mix. She said I turned 7 months old on May 19th, 2012. My foster mom says that I came from a pound in NW Indiana. I was with my mom and 8 siblings. They have all found their furever homes and now I am the only one left. I am very outgoing and have some puppy energy but I am a little shy with people that I don’t know and I think I may be more shy with small children. My foster mom says that I am doing much better with that. I get to go to adoption events and walk around the local pet stores to practice not being so shy with people. I also go for walks on a leash around the neighborhood and I do pretty good with that. I like to play with other dogs and I even like the cats that I live with. I like to follow my foster mom around the house. I love hugs and kisses too. I can do a sit if asked to. I am potty trained and I do well in a crate.
. Renki is up to date on vaccines and he is now fully vetted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Renki, a Oak Lawn Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
