Posey's Story...
Posey is a beautiful female seven month old Husky/Aussie/Shepherd mix. She is a sweet girl whose tail wags endlessly. She is very smart! When offered treats she was extremely polite and gentle. She loves bones, balls and squeaky toys. Here is more information from the Good Samaritan who discovered Posey:
A Beautiful 7 month old female Husky/Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix. Posey lived with a female lab mix as well as being around other adult dogs and puppies and was dog social with all. She also lived in a home with 3 cats and showed no interest or aggression towards them. She was around 3 children, the oldest being 3 yrs. and interacted fine with them. Posey has a very sweet personality. If you would like to meet Posey, please contact Westside Rescue at jepartain@comcast.net. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Posey, a Fresno Husky/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Shepherd for sale in Fresno, or seeking a Husky/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Husky/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
