Jasmine's Story...
Please contact Jennifer ( for more information about this pet.

Jasmine (aka 'Baby Jazz') is a sweet, friendly, cuddly cat that enjoys being a lovable companion for her caregivers. She is mellow, calm, and will snuggle up with her humans at night. She is a very loving and snuggly cat! Jasmine is a joy to have around the house! She gets along with other cats and does well with children. She would make a perfect 'family cat'. She would also be the perfect cat for an older person in need of a companion. She wants nothing more than to be loved so she can love back! Jasmine has perfect bathroom manners. She is not shy and has had life-long care by her human families. Born outside to a stray, she was rescued, hand-raised and cared for by her Kindred Kitties foster family when she was a small baby kitten of only 4 weeks old. She was adopted as a kitten but surrendered to the humane society in September when her family moved without her.  She is now about 2 years old and has grown into a lovely young lady! She has had excellent human caregivers for all but the first 4 weeks of her life while she was being nursed by her feral mom cat. She is currently living with her original foster parents who raised her.  Please email us if you would like to set up a time to meet her.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
