Mama Annabelle's Story...
Please contact Jennifer (saturday320399@hotmail.com) for more information about this pet.

Mama Annabelle came to us as a pregnant stray. She gave birth to her 6 babies in one of our foster homes. Her babies were adopted earlier this spring and now Mama Annabelle is ready and looking for a home of her own. Mama Annabelle is a nice companion kitty but is still getting used to living in a household. She isn't 'cuddly' but she would be a great cat for someone who would like to continue working with her in teaching her love and trust. She likes being with older cats but is not fond of kittens.  Mama Annabelle is in a foster home, so if you would like to meet her, please send us an email!

Our Adoption Process...
Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
