Kohl's Story...
My story: I am a very cute and playful kitty. I love to run around the house and make my foster kids chase me from room to room, when they tire out and stop looking for me I have a special cry that I use to grab their attention. This starts them looking for me again!! I also love to play with boxes and crinkly toys. And the end of the day, I just want to curl up in your lap or bed and fall asleep. My foster mom says I would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Could I be a member of your family????
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Unknown | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kohl, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
